General Foot Care Session

The general care session includes the initial assessment, documentation, discussion with patient to learn of any specific problems, pain or concerns as well as the treatment. This will include nail cutting, filing and reduction of thickened nails, removal of hard skin build ups, removal of corns. A foot massage to finish will leave you feeling comfortable and a little bit pampered.

Nail Cut Service 

£30.00

For some people, simply being able to cut their nails and attend to routine foot care has become difficult or even impossible. Patients attending for this service have a myriad of reasons as to why they can no longer manage, and this appointment is the perfect way to ensure that your nails are cut safely and efficiently and to maintain toe comfort. During this service, your feet are assessed, nails cut, filed and reduced if thickened, some minor heel filing can be included.

Foot Health Advice Session

£25.00

Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to go for advice about foot problems and which treatment route would be best. Our advisory consultation is available to help patients with diagnosis of conditions, advice as to the best treatment route e.g. Foot Health Professional, Doctor, Specialist Podiatric surgeon etc. 

(Patients who consult with conditions treatable by the FHP will not be charged for the consultation, if the treatment is carried out within the appointment, - you will only be charged for the actual treatment.)

Ingrown Toe Nails 

£45.00

We see a lot of people with ingrown nails, but we see even more with 'nail spikes'. Treatments will vary depending on the severity and cause of the problem, the level of infection (if any) and the ease with which the problem can be alleviated. Most patients are treated in clinic, however,  we are not able to carry out full nail surgery at Toe-tal Health Care, in these rare instances, we have a working agreement with a local Dr of Podiatry and many GPs will also complete nail surgery if it is required.

Veruca Treatments

A verruca is a nuisance - they are sometimes painfull, unsightly and for some people, they find them embarrassing. More importantly - they are contagious - which is how you got yours in the first place. There is not a 'one size fits all treatment'. We offer a variety of treatments at Toe-tal Health Care which include natural remedies, chemical treatments, and Cryo-Therapy (freezing). The treatment depends on the nature and number of verrucae a patient has, as well as their age, ability to self treat and any medical conditions / prescribed medicines.

Nail Reconstruction

If you have a nail permanently damaged by injury or previous nail surgery, it may make you uneasy about wearing sandals or flip-flops or being barefoot in front of others. At Toe-tal Health Care we have been
're-constructing' toe nails for many years. We can do a single nail, or several nails. Once completed, the nail reconstruction can be worn 'au naturele' or painted with nail polish.
